Q: Who are Acorn Uniforms?
A: Acorn Uniforms is a family owned an operated company specializing in medical uniforms, labcoats, chef wear, accessories, footwear, and much more. Established in 1998, we are committed to providing you satisfactory customer service along with the latest styles and fashions in the industry. Along with an extensive online store, we also have a retail store located in Bellevue, Washington.
Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: All orders are shipped using UPS Ground within 1-2 business days, if not sooner. Because we often have the manufacturer ship your order to you directly from their warehouse, shipping transit time may vary depending on where the package originated (the manufacturers have various locations throughout the U.S.).
Q: How do I know if my order was received?
A: You will receive a confirmation email directly from us at Acorn Uniforms once your order has been processed. It will notify you of where your package will be shipping from, and give you a tracking number if one is available at the time.
Q: I just placed my order, but need to make a change. How do I do this?
A: We want to do all we can to accommodate our customers, and will make a change to the order only if it has not yet been processed. You can email us with the change you need, however if we do not see your email before your order has been processed, we won't be able to make a change. The same goes for order cancellations.
Q: How do I select express shipping?
A: We do not have an option for express shipping when checking out of our online store at this time. All orders are shipped standard Ground shipping. However, if you contact us before your order has been processed, we will be glad to offer you the service of your choice and determine the cost.
Q: Do you ship to Hawaii and Alaska?
A: Yes! There is a flat $19.00 shipping charge for all shipments to Hawaii and Alaska (standard service). Please allow approx 2 weeks for delivery.
Q: Do you ship to PO Boxes?
A: We apologize, but we are unable to ship to your PO box at this time.
Q: How can I track my order?
A: If your order ships directly from Acorn Uniforms, you will receive a tracking number via email on the day the order ships. However, if the order ships directly from a manufacturer, a tracking # will be available at your request. You will receive a confirmation email from us once your order is processed informing you of where your package is shipping from.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: We will gladly accept returns if we receive them no later than 30 days after the day they were delivered to you. We will not accept any items that appear to have been washed or worn. All items must have original tags attached, and be in re-sellable condition. Acorn Uniforms has the right to determine if an item is deemed non-returnable. Q: I received my package, but there are pieces missing. Where is the rest of my order?
A: There are a few scenarios of why you may only have received a partial shipment. If you order two items from two different manufacturers, we may have had both of them shipped to you directly from their warehouses. Another possibility is that an item is on backorder, and will be shipped to you as soon as it becomes available. Finally, if an item happens to be discontinued and we no longer have any stock available, we will automatically refund you for that item and ship the remainder of your order. Either way, you will always receive an email informing you of what to expect. So check your email!
Q: Do you have a catalog?
A: We do not have a catalog for mailing at this time. You should find everything you need on our website.
Q: I know the item I want, but it isn't on your website. Can I still order this from you?
A: Absolutely. If you can't find what you are looking for, just call us and we'll gladly take your order over the phone. While we are always looking to update our website with the latest styles and products, not everything gets put online. As long as we outsource from the company you want, and the product is still available, we'll have no problem taking your order.
Q: I called and left a voicemail, or sent an email, but haven't heard back from you. Why?
A: We make it a top priority to answer all voicemails and emails. All messages will be returned within 24 hours during the week, if not sooner. Someone will be glad to take your call from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM PST Monday through Friday, and 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM PST on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays and holidays.
Q: I can't combine any items in my shopping cart. Every time I try to add a new item, the items already in my cart disappear? Why is this happening?
A: Most likely, this is a result of not having "Cookies" enabled on your computer. Cookies allow a vistor's computer to memorize the items in their cart while they navigate our site. Cookies need to be enabled to work with our cart. If you are unsure of how to enable Cookies, please let us know and we will assist you.
